  Do not go to this hotel. There are bed bugs. I called the Michigan Board of Health and they say that they are aware of the problem and that they have received multiple complaints. When we talked to the manager of the hotel, he acted so shocked. He tried to say that this had never happened before. The Board says differently. The next day, the manager refused to give us back our money, even though he had said that they would investigate and that we would be reimbursed for our entire stay. I have him on recording saying that we would be reimbursed. We took him to our room and showed him the bed bugs feces and we have him admitting that that is bed bugs and that we would be reimbursed. I plan on suing this establishment. Even if this hadn't happened, I would still barely give this a 2 start review. They don't have discounts for consecutive days, emergencies, or power outages. We were fired to go there because my city was shutdown because of bad weather and we had no electricity. There is no continental breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi is no longer 24hrs. Service takes forever. The mini fridges are broken. The beds and pillows suck. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They will be sued and we will never go to this hotel every again. I would give it a zero review if I could. Its sad because I use to love going here as a kid.

  Nice place, clean and comfortable. Does need some maintenance in the parking lot and sidewalk. Couple good size holes in the concrete. Most of the outside lights worked, back parking lot was a little dim. Seen a work truck parked in front of a fire hydrant. Could use more electrical outlets in room. Front desk clerk needs to get off the phone when checking in a guest. Sounded like a personal call. Better than the last place I started in this town!
